Level 1: The child explores the water and learns to feel comfortable in the water.
Level 2: The basics of the front crawl and the back crawl are introduced. The child will perform each stroke for a total of 5 yards to pass.
Level 3: More work is done on the front crawl and the back crawl. The elementary backstroke is introduced along with diving and treading water.
Level 4: The child practices the previous strokes and diving. Parts of the side stroke are introduced and practiced.
Level 5: The previous strokes and including the side stroke are practiced.
